For some people, homework is essential. For others it is a nuisance.
Try doing all your homework as well as you can and see if your grades improve. The only way you should object to homework is if you make perfect grades whether you do it or not.
I hated homework, but for math, especially, I needed to do it to make good grades.

It's pointless. Ask your teacher why they give homework when in the real world, at a job, there is no homework? You'll get them really steamed up. It's fun.

homework is a necessary part of the learning process. it allows you to make practical applications, of what you have learned in classes, to subject matter or exercises.
in short it proves you are learning and shows you "got" it.

i think its pretty stupid.
if you spend, lets say about 7hrs at school, why should you have to put in another 2hrs at home???
there is no need for a second shift...
