I caught the end of tonight and am pretty sure I saw the brother. Did the sister make it, and if she didn't what happened? She sang great at the audition, so if she messed up, how exactly did she mess up. Also did the two best friends from Jersey make it through, and the girl from new york who cut school and risked losing her opera school scholorship. I can tell I am going to be lost this season...my schedule doesn't get me home in enough time to watch!!! : (

No, the sister got cut after group day. They didn't really highlight her, so I'm not sure how it happened. The brother made it to the final 24.
As for the two best friends, the darker skinned girl made it, but the blonde did not. But I'll not be voting for her. She showed a bad attitude, and she manipulated her way into winning. Also, she proved to be a bad singer, and the judges let her by on her looks.
The opera singer disappeared, she's not in the 24. They didn't bring her up anymore at all. The girl who lied to her dad got cut. The girl in the military got cut. The boy who cried when he called his mom got cut. The Shakira lookalike got cut.
In short, the final 24 are mostly people we didn't see before.

Last week when the groups had finished performing the contestants were all separated into 3 rooms. The brother and sister were not in the same room. The room that the sister was in did not make it through. Her brother made it into the final 24.

the sister Shyamali got cut last night, but Sanjaya, the brother, is still in as of tonight. He made the top 12 guys. I thought it was so sweet how he cried about his sister not making it. I am really hoping he goes far. They all seem like a genuinely caring family.

The brother made it through to the top 24. The sister didn't even make it through the hollywood auditions. I think that she should have made it through too though!

The brother made it and the sister had to go home. Instead of celebrating.. when the brother realized his sister wasn't there he left the room and found her. He gave her a huge hug and they both cried. It was awesome to see that closeness between them.

Sanjay I think it is, made it through and his sister didn't. I like him, but I don't think he's gonna make it far unless he improves very quickly.
One of the two girls from Jersey was already cut and the other was in the final two then she made it, but she shouldn't have, she's a dumb *** and can't remember any songs. The girl that didn't make it #13 was way more talented.
The opera girl never made it.

i watched it yesterday and the indian girl got out but her brother stayed. both of them were crying so much. the judges thought the indian girl wasn;t that good. and the girl sarah which skipped school and went to american idol she lost. i'm not sure why but she lost. im not sure about the to girls from ney jersy. i feel sad for the girl who skipped school sarah.

brother went through and is in the top 24, sister went home last night....also the two friends....antonella went through i think but her friend did not. don't think the other girl went through either
