Sometimes when your muscles twitch it can be because your body is low on potassium. Eat a banana or other potassium rich food and see if that clears it up :)
Good Luck!

Twitching muscles happen. Some people get it worse than others for lots of strange reasons. Being pregnant is merely one thing.

Stress generally causes twitches/ticks for me; big, embarrassing, like my whole face and forearm muscles starts dancing and I look like an alien is trying to burst through my flesh.

Being pregnant can trigger it, too. Hormone levels. Feeling stressed because you're morning sick or feeling fat or not sleeping well or worried about how this will affect your life ... all that stuff piles up on the stress scale. Stress can show up as muscle twitches, sometimes ones that are very persistent and very annoying.

Vitamin deficiencies can do it, too. It's easier to be vitamin deficient when you're pregnant because you have to share your nutrition with someone else. Do you have an o/b? Are you on a mega/multi-supplement vitamin?

I could say try to reduce your stress and eventually the ticks should subside, but ha ha ha that's little comfort now. I feel for you, hon. You just need to tough it out and focus on trying to stay as healthy as you can. Your body needs more vitamins and more sleep right now because it's keeping you alive and it's forming another life, too. That's hard work. You muscles are probably yelling at you to chill out a bit. Which, as I said, is hard to do but every little bit can help.

You know this is really crazy but I fell ya. i only had the twitching in my eye and it was about to drive me nuts. My eye would twitch all day everyday for like 2 months I think it did htis then just as soon as it started it stopped too. So hopefully it will stop the further you get along too.

You need more potassium in your diet. Drink orange juice (real, not punch) and eat a banana every day. It should help the muscle cramps and twitches.

I think its just the blood that's increasing in your body causing so much pain.
