you can't do nothing right? yer flirting skills r a bit off? when you try at sumthin more then once u'll always fail? sum1 asks u out but then never calls back and u get tha wrong impression?

i've been having a lot of these feelings 2day. here's tha thing, my crush travis asked me out and said we could either go to a movie or out to dinner. i haven't made my desision yet becuz i haven't heard from him again... and i've been tryin fer this relationship fer a while but not in tha way where i keep sending him emails and freakin him out type thing ... idk i mean on his myspace page i took sum of tha surveys i sent him a happy valentines day message ... it could jus be that he's busy with work but i've been dreamin of this relationship fer years now since 7th grade i'm 18 now and i don't wanna screw this up kinda feelin in is me now. i'm afraid my flirting skills r a bit ... screwy and outdated and maybe he's lost interest and oy so many worries r packed into one feeling now ...

don't worry about the lack of confidence...it sounds charmingly refreshing.

Have you tried telling him that you're nervous? I'm sure he'd have a better understanding if you did.

And the fact that you're with a crush all the way from 7th grade makes me feel like there is hope for the world, heh. And judging by how far back it is, he's been crushing on you too . . .

yes, that's exactly how i feel. i tried one approach with one guy. it didn't work out. i tried the opposite approach with one guy, and still didn't work. so now i'm trying the in between, and it seems to work. however, i'm also trying just being friends with him. in a relationship, both parties must be willing to work on making the relationship happen. if only one is working, then it will not work out. another thing is to not expect anything from him. it will just crush you. i am guilty of this, but i'm slowly learning my lessons. i have my friends to thank also because they keep me on my toes. good luck!

Some times if you push your self to much for some one, they back up a bit.Give it a time. You can not lure a person by flirting skills but by making him/her feel good to herself /him when you are around.
