I think so . The Ducks rely on one player to carry the whole team. They fell apart while Pronger was out. The Sharks are more well rounded. When a player goes down someone else picks up and helps out. The Sharks have two good goalies to count on. Cheechoo and Thornton are always a threat to score when they are on the ice.

San Jose has finally revealed its true talent and probably has the best chance to win the Stanley Cup. They will soon surpass the Ducks and win the division. From there, they will be one of the best teams in the playoffs. Now that San Jose has come out with their true talent and their maximum potential (or so it seems), they will move up the rankings and prove to be not only much better than Anaheim, but the top 5 teams in the league.

No. I think San Jose is really in just as precarious position as Anaheim when it comes to losing players. If they lose Cheechoo or Thornton, they can't survive.

Anaheim hit the same kind of slump Buffalo did for the same reason Buffalo did. Injuries. Anaheim healthy is a better team than San Jose. And San Jose can't compete with a team like Buffalo. They remind me of Ottawa last season. They won't finish the deal when a team with heart comes after them.

I'm a Sabres fan, a fan of neither team, so my opinion may be better.. lol I'd Say Anaheim, because they got way better players all around. Except for goalie though. Toskala + Nabokov = great combination.. it's like Miller + Biron. Anaheim also has Chris Pronger, Scott Niedermayer, Andy McDonald, Chris Kunitz, Jean-Sebastien Giguere, way too many good players to name.

Right now id say they are. But a totally healthy Anaheim is probably makes them one of the best team in the league.

The Sharks are more of a team-which counts come playoff time. The Ducks would be more hurt by losing Selanne than the Sharks would be losing Thorton. Sharks-better goalies, Ducks better top two defensemen-not all D, Sharks better, bigger, smarter forwards-I don't see how this is a comparison.
