First, I would stop for a few seconds to ponder the peculiar reversal of physics that allowed my 2000 pound, dense car to float. Once I was over that, I would search my car for anything useful (the car emergency kit I have under my seat would help). I would then find anything I had that could be used for flotation (seat cushions, life jackets) and, while the water level rose, tie it together to fashion some sort of raft. Then I would remove my pants, tie the ankles together in a knot (this makeshift life jacket courtesy of BSA). I would wait until the water level was high enough that I had to leave my car, climb through the sunroof onto the roof, and try to loop a rope around some tree or other high object. Finally, I would take my makeshift raft and life jacket and try to reach said high object, hoping that it would suffice for shelter.

I would roll down the window, hold on to the car, and stick my head out the window to increase my chances of keeping my head above the water. Then I would hope that I get snagged, and someone with a chopper can come and rescue me.
