I bought a new wide screen monitor. When I try to apply 1440X900 pixels, it wont stay. What do I do?

You are going to have to be a little more specific.

What does it do when you select that resolution? Does it go black or garbled or does it just not go into that resolution.

WIthout more info, the only thing I can suggest is get the updated drivers for your video card and try again.
