I have several pharmacist friends. It is a good job, they work in the hospital pharmacy filling prescriptions and another one does education to the patients on their meds plus is on the medical team and works with the doctors and other providers on which medicine, dosage and side effects are pertinent to the patient.
I understand from talking to a lot of pharmacists that retail, such as working at Wlagreens is the worst job for a pharmacist. Long hours and a lot of stress.

I am a pharmacist. I own my pharmacy and have four part-time employees. I chose this career because it's a respectable position, makes good money and get satisfaction of helping sick vulnerable people.
