I have a girlfriend, and she's awesome, shes real good to me, i have 2 loving parents, a cool younger brother and great friends. Why would i rather be alone in my room watching television then with them? im 20 years old, and i went to college for 1 year and then decided to work for the next year... i feel like im wasting my life and missing opportunities.

You could very well be one of the millions of people who suffers from depression. I know I suffer from it as well. I have the perfect life, boyfriend, parents, family, and I'm pretty good in school. Sometimes it's all just chemical! Consider talking to your doctor. It can be treated. There's so much out there.

It is called "grown pains" and the only know cure is growing out of them.Do You seriously think that You are the only one to ever have doubts, fears, uncertainties, misconceptions, second thoughts, anxiety attacks or unrequited ambitions?
Take a number, stand in line and I'll get back to You just as soon as I finish doing a head count of everyone else on the planet who has experienced Your 'personal' dilemma.
What do You really want to do with Your Life? That is the ultimate question? Find the right answer and You are home and hosed.

PS. Try having another go at Your education---- study something that You reall want to do.
Cheers!

1.Sadness and cheerfullness both are part of life and it comes periodically , so we shold not escape from it rather accept and enjoy this moment . If we want to escape from sadness then period of sadness will increase till your desire to escape from it is not vanishes.
