It takes time to build your dexterity and eventually your fingers will get over the initial soreness.. Clarinet and guitar music is the same. Easy to read.. Keep trying. Sax is nice too. I prefer Soprano sax.. but all are great!

I had guitar classes but with time I kinda forgot but I bought a poster of guitar chords and when I have the time I practice. If youre trying to learn chords: Choose one (easy one) and practice just with that one when you got it right play another one similar to the first one and practice playing those two and them youll have it.But you can look at sax too. :)

I'll tell you what , I am a guitar player, and proud and glad that I learned to play guitar, but, I regret, never learning to play a saxophone also, because in these days and times, the market is flooded with guitar players! !

i play the alto sax
it is a lot easier to learn than guitar and it sounds great too plus you dont need any extra equipment like amps and such so that is what i would personally recomend=)
