I looking to buy a used car and I've narrowed it down to a mitsubishi galant and a hondai sonata? I've been researching both makes/ models but I'm just trying to get some more feedback.

I suggest looking at a Toyota. They make models which are fuel efficient (40-50 miles to the gallon).

I'd lean towards the Sonata. Both are pretty good, but parts for a Mitsubishi are expensive. I had to buy a 4-way flasher (hazard light) switch for my '93 Eclipse. It cost over $40 just for the part, and I installed it myself. Hyundai also has a better reputation for reliability. When I first bought my Mitsubishi (at 34,000 miles) it already needed to have the gearbox rebuilt (5 speed), a new clutch, and the top of the engine (cam followers/lifters and valves) replaced - thankfully, the factory warranty was still in effect!

Whichever way you decide to go, good luck!

Mitsubishi parts may be a little expensive but the hyndai sonata will need to be replaced after a while. Hyndais suck.
