If you are in snow you have no traction. Try adding weight in your trunk.

The rear wheels push your car along the road...but the weight of the engine is in the front. Since the back wheels don't have much weight on them, they will tend to spin - especially on snow or ice. Front wheel drive cars get around this problem by putting the engine directly over the wheels that do the work. What you need is a little bit of a run-up, so that your momentum can help the car (getting started from a stop is the hardest thing to do), or don't push so hard on the gas pedal.
Remember: if the tyres start to spin, pushing harder on the gas won't help. It just smooths the surface of the snow/ice, making it slipperier. Instead, get off the gas, and when the wheels stop spinning, try again - using less throttle.

i own a shop, and normally like you do with any other vehicle, but if its slick out or real steep, and has loose gravel on it you need to get a little run at it,other wise it will stall out and start spinning,it helps to add a little weight to the trunk for climbing steep hills all the time ,good luck,i hope this help,s.

Low on tranny fluid or you have a bad misfire or fuel starvation. Maybe time for a good tune-up.

you might have a dead transmission. Is it spinning out, or just not moving?
