That's about the only thing you'll pull in a Punto! Sorry, l couldn't resist!
How old is the Punto? I know of someone who had an L reg one a few years back. I'm pretty sure that Fiat recalled it for something to do with the wheels/steering. Get in touch with them and see if they can suggest anything.

Take it to a garage to make a proper wheel alignment (tow in / tow out) This type of setting has to be performed on every care when changing the CV Joint belows, CV Joint itself, when a new steering rack has been installed...
Don't take notice of the people that tells you that it's because it's a Fiat cause even a Mercedes and BMW etc.. needs alignment when steering repairs take place my friend.
Hope this helps my friend and take notice to my last paragraph cause if you listen to those people that tell you against the Fiat you will end up hating your car my friend. Good Luck mate.

Are you the only owner of the car? Is it possible that it could have been crashed before you owned it? I have driven fiats for years and they are fantastic cars until they are crashed.... they are never right again.
If this is possible, a good mechanic should be able to tell you in about 10 mins.

Wheel alignment, Flat /soft tire, distorted chassis - might as well be made from paper in some models, worn bearings.
Put your mind to it you probably know what the cause and the remedy is for yourself?
Oh not an extreme camber where you normaly park it ?

Probably your brakes or suspension tbh! On some ford focuses, they pull to left when then turbo kicks in (as shown on top gear). Just thought it may be useful for future reference but just get it checked out and then nothing to worry about! Hope you don't lose control again!

axles and wheels
have a toe-in
and toe-out connection
with eachother
if there is a design flaw
it could cause imbalance
seek info from fiat
on correcting it(maybe fiat is liable for costs incurred)
