Amusement parks are SO much fun for first dates! Or any dates for that matter. =P

You should kind of see what the girl is into and stuff and go from there. If she's not very adventurous or spontaneous or if she doesn't like coasters, etc...she might not dig an amusement park. But I think an amusement park is a great place to get to know someone...you can tell certain things about people by what rides they like, what foods they like, etc. And it's hard NOT to have fun at an amusement park. =)

If you know her well, the Amusement Park is good--but if you don't know her that well and want to get to know her, better would be someplace you could talk to her a lot without crazy distractions.

The other problem with Amusement Parks is that is makes for a very long date--make sure she's up for it. In my book, a good two hours of talking while walking through nature is a better than an entire day in a crowded amusement park when I'm trying to get to know a girl.

it should be something fun, so thats its not awkward.

An amusement park would be a good idea. And if you can’t afford that just take her to a park or something. Anything that’s funny and goofy is usually a good idea.

I had a guy take me to a park once and after playing on the swings and stuff we made icecream sculptures on the picnic tables. It was one of the stupidest things ive ever done but also one of the most fun. Anything fun is definatly a good idea for a first date.

Amusement parks are fun and they aren't as awkward as a quiet dinner with very little distractions. I'd say it's fine.

hell ya! that's grate its a place where you can talk and have fun at the same time. Because it gives you things to talk about people places, things. Thing that may not come up easily at a dinner date. Good luck hope it works for you.

I think it's a great idea.
If you don't know her well you could also take her to play mini golf and play in the arcade. (It makes for a shorter date!)

Good luck!
