Ok, here is a CSI question that I really REALLY need an answer too: Once you have placed your finger prints on an evelope/paper can you remove them? So like the CSI police can't trace them? If you can, please give detail as to how...thanks again

Also...CAN NOT BURN THE PAPER, the paper MUST stay intact....

Burn the paper. Then pound the ashes to dust. Then flush the dust down the toilet. That should do it.

So the paper needs to stay intact? That makes it harder.

How about washing it in aqua regia, as strong as the paper will stand? That might do it. Maybe if you alternate a bath in light mineral oil, then the aqua regia, then sodium bicarbonate. Then rinse in clear water several times, let dry.

(aqua regia dissolves organic compounds in finger prints?)
(the sodium bicarb neutralizes the aqua regia)

If you don't want your fingerprint retrieved, don't get them on the paper in the first place. That's why they have surgical gloves.
