that's a really good set-up actually! what i do with my gerbils is when i go to Petsmart, and i see something they'd like i try it, and usually they do like it, bcuz gerbils are very inquisitive, and i don't know about mice, but it seems like they would be curious too. so just try new things and figure out their favorites!! maybe a snack log, or more things to crawl through (they like that), but don't buy too many things or you'll run out of room! and always make sure that, if you do get another mouse, you only have one house/nest in there at a time, so that they have to sleep together, and they bond more.
good luck! and i hope i could have helped in some way!

By joining together several cardboard toilet roll tubes, a fascinating little play-tunnel can be made. Cut the ends accordingly to make turns or another level up. Cut a few slits so u can find the mouse if the tunnel is too long. To complete the effect, paint the tube in bright, jolly colours.

Wire cage! Aquariums are baaaaad. Mice create so much stinky ammonia with their urine, it not only builds up smell-wise, but it affects their resperitory system and causes lots of problems. plus, they get the added bonus of getting to climb around on the sides, which they love. www.martinscages.com or quality cage.com is a good place to start (making sure that it is not a wire bottomed cage, that is no fun for little feet).
Making a little bed of fleece or an old washcloth is always good. Give the critter lots of things to destroy, like cloth and cardboard tubes. Every week or other week, just clean out their little nest and let them begin again, this will keep them busy :) Those plastic tubes that go with the various critter systems work well just on their own for mice, you can build them a little maze of tunnels, Just be sure to clean them, for they can become stinky.
Also, just a few tips I like to share with everyone here, the carefresh bedding is good (no pine or cedar wood, ever!), but I would reccomend trying to find a good Rodent Block style food, and you can give them a little snack of fruit or veggie or whatever you happen to be eating, as well. Rat and Mouse club of America will have more info about mice care www.rmca.org.

p.s. Don't ever ever EVER mix sexes of mice, they breed like madness, and you will never be able to find homes for every one and in small enviroments they will turn to cannibalism, a tragic fact I found out when I was in Jr. High.
Also, unless they were raised together, mice might not take well to a new friend and could fight, so if you have a single, it might be best to keep them that way (being sure to give them lots of extra attention).

get rid of the wire wheel and get a plastic one. wire is dangerous for their feet and tails. a friend of mine's mouse lost an eye because of her wire wheel. give them a plasic cat ball the doesn't have the openings in it.
