I would give you a name, but I don't follow much college football. I agree that the Steelers need better cornerbacks. I could care less about how fast they are, the Steelers need somebody tall. Too many mediocre recievers caught a TD pass against the corners.

Anywhere in the Secondary besides at the Strong Safety, the Steelers need help. Now, I'm not the biggest fan of Leon Hall. I just look at the Rose Bowl this year, and see how he got lit up against USC, and Jarrett. Reggie Nelson from Florida would be a good fit as they need someone to play Free Safety and he's a play maker though he's already shown that he's injury pone. Also, I could see the Steelers taking Darrelle Revis from Pitt. He's played for the University of Pittsburgh and the guy is incredibly talented though undersized. He got great speed and he's a play maker. He had two picks this year both return for TDs. Plus, he's been an all Big-East since he was a freshman. On the other hand, they might want to go after an OL to help protect Roethlisberger, just remembering the games against the Ravens where he spend 90% of the time on his back after the Steelers couldn't stop the blitz. After that, they might add someone on the defensive line to add strength there. Finally, they will probably continue to add depth to both sides of the ball with OL and DT, and maybe in the late rounds a backup QB to fill in for the aging Batch.

15. Pittsburgh Steelers – Leon Hall, cornerback, Michigan. The Steelers got burned on the outside several times last season and hope to upgrade the corner position through the draft. Hall may lack the straight-line speed of Ike Taylor, but he would provide Pittsburgh with better ball skills and toughness. Hall also brings the experience of having defended many of the top-rated receivers in this year's draft.

I hope Bill Cowher is consulted on this one ,Since 99 when he got Donahoe fired , Have you been noticing our drafts every
one has been impact drafts for us .Look at our roster since2000.
Very impressive one of Cowher hidden strengths... I think we
need a defensive back and several offensive lineman If it were
up to me my first 3 picks would all be offensive lineman we
have to get protection for Ben.He is a great Qb. but you cant
pass when you are on your back..I think that is the # 1 priority
for 2007..Our offensive line was responsible for all our loses
last year. that is why I was rooting that Russ Grimm did not get the job..I though Cowher was to stubborn to admit it..I hope
the Steelers give John Kuhns a chance this year I picked
Willie Parker in camp 4 years ago , Kuhns impresses me the
same way... I think Townsend is the weak link in the secondary
But McFadden ,Smith and Clark can fill the void.. I am afraid
that Tomlin is going to take a defensive lineman so he can
stockpile the 4-3.. I hope not..

I'll tell you someone they should pick up in the 2nd round. I dont think this guy is good enough to take 15th overall, but if he is still on the board in the 2nd round, they should pick up Brian Leonard of Rutgers. He can play RB, FB, WR, TE which would seem to be a great fit. Kreider is getting up there in years, so if they decide that Leonard would work best there, they can groom him to be his replacement. He can also figure into the mix as the big bruising back who they can count on in 3rd and 1 or goalline situations. Him and Heath in a 2 TE set would be difficult for a defense to counter, as would lining him up wide and putting Holmes in the slot. In addition, he's regarded as the ultimate team player. Rutgers was promoting him as a heisman candidate early in the year, but he stepped back when Ray Rice started to emerge. He always did what was best for the team and never complained. Something you rarely see these days. I think he would be a fantastic pickup for the Steelers.

As for round 1, I think CB is definitely a priority, as is any OL position. They lack depth in both of those areas. I'm interested to see what happens with Ike Taylor. They signed him to a big contract, then he pretty much tanked. I wonder if Tomlin can make him a factor again, or if they might look at releasing or trading him. All in all, as was mentioned the Steelers have gotten TONS of production from their recent 1st round picks. With Colbert still running football ops, I expect them to continue that trend!

I think they'll draft a replacement for Jeff Hartings high in the draft. They'll adress the OL first and foremost...it's starting to age. The Hartings retirement really hurt.

I think they clearly need to draft a RB with some size and power.

I believe they may try to make a move for Dan Mozes-c from WVU to replace Hartings
