I am assuming that you are British, and if you aren't well I am answering this pretty badly.I personally love both British and American comedy. British humor is just very silly, American comedy you sometimes have to think about it, and it is not as obvious. I don't know what I would do without either Little Britain or My name Is Earl, they are totally different shows, but both equally funny, I also love Monty Python, one of the funniest shows I have ever seen. I think every American should see Little Britain, it totally change's what you think British people are like, at least it did for me.

Isn't it like 2:00 or 3:00 in the morning there, what are you doing up...? Yes we speak the same language but we spell differently (no u's in words like favorite and color and z's instead of s's such as in "realize"). I don't know though, it's an age-old question, eh? I think we are more...rude and out there than you guys. You all seem so proper and polite and we just don't get that. LOL. Plus a common language doesn't have much to do with anything. Plus different media...our country is obsessed with it and bad media makes millions every year.

It is different but in my experience, the Americans love the British sense of humour.

Until I moved to the Northwest I probley would'nt have been able to answer you, But here in the Northwest Neo-Nazi's have moved in and are putting Swastika's on alot of people's out buildings. We found that their homes, Their windows are all covered up to stop their young ones from seeing how American children play or do anything else. This is when our HUMOR changes drastically.

Because we are individuals, and we are shaped by everything we have come in contact with throughout our lives. People are as different as snowflakes! How boring would the world be if there was only one flavor of ice cream? Enjoy and celebrate the differences! There is only ONE you! :)

Just because people speak the same language doesn't mean their cultures will be the same. Ever hear of a stompdance?
I bet not, but we still both speak English. Doesn't mean we share the same culture.

Hmmm..... We really don't all speak the same language. And sense of humor isn't as related to language as it is to personality traits, culture, and the environment we live in. Ok, really, I just needed some more points, but it sounded good to me.
