Okay...I'm in band, and we have a contest tomorrow. For the contest, I have to wear a pair of white leather shoes. I just now got back into band after being out for a semester and just got the shoes earlier, because I had to order them. They're brand spanking new and really stiff, but I have to wear them all day tomorrow...how can I break them in tonight?

Put on some thick socks & spray them lightly w/ rubbing alcohol before putting on the shoes. Walk around your house a bit to stretch the leather out. Put in shoe trees or stuff them w/ clean, white paper. (Newsprint ink might bleed & ruin the white leather.)

Patience is key, don't break them in, in one day. A pair of thick socks. Here is a store that sells great socks online http://www.mongrelsocks.com.au and then walk around the house for a while. Keep it up for a few days and they will soften. I have heard that heavy leather boots worn in the army they break them in by stepping in water and when they are completely wet they keep wearing them till they are dry and after this they fit your feet perfectly

Stuff them with news paper or a cloth.
Jam pack them but fist bend them back and forth to soften the leather.

Wear them around the house. Go for a walk or something.

Put on some really thick socks and wear them. Then before you put them on tomorrow, put Band-Aids over any places on your feet where they rubbed you wrong...heels, etc.
