Well, i've done it before with my brother in his tahoe, and my friends and my brother only do it in empty parking lots that are covered in snow.

Front wheel drive. This means you can't do power slides, but you can get very sideways by pulling the handbrake while turning, then releasing it and gassing it while countersteering to straighten up.

Mis-matched tire sizes on the front axle will of course cause a pull as you well know now. It will also cause the transaxle to spin at different speeds on each axle. This in turn can overheat the transmission fluid and burn out the tranny. That's expensive. At the very least have the tires rotated back so the oddball is back on the rear where it will do the least harm until this is resolved. PS The fact that he didn't notice the tire was the wrong size when it was installed AND didn't catch that it was the wrong size when rotated is a strong indicator that it is time for a new mechanic. it is front wheel drive, but what a scary idea, a brand new driver that wants to drift a car, something tells me a few days after you get your licence, you wont need it, because the car will be wrecked
