Of course a Mac Pro, because Mac's have a cool features, like having widgets, without installing them. Just one click in the center, its appears. Widgets like clock, Temperature, and other stuff. Try it out!

According to Consumer Reports Apple products like the MacBook Pro have the highest quality and best customer support. It's like buying a Toyota over a Dodge - in the long run you save money buying better quality.

Also, a PC laptop using ZDNet writer found that to make a PC laptop equal to what you get in a MacBook Pro made the PC more expensive.

Plus I've used both and Macs are much easier to use than PCs and much less virus prone (I haven't seen a Mac virus since 1987 when I started using Macs). There are some out there so, for any computer, you should have a virus protection program.

And don't listen to people about PCs having more programs. Who needs to choose, for example, among 30 programs for PCs and 20 for Macs. You can find anything you want to do for the Mac. Even the major programs like Photoshop and Office are both Mac and PC compatible. And, should you ever need to use a PC only program, note that Macs can run Windows natively too.

IBM is a very good laptop. There is a new model coming out soon. One of my certifications is IBM. Now I dont know anyone with a Mac or have heard of anyone I know having a mac and I know alot of people. So i cant comment on a mac except they are not that popular as the commerical makes it seem.

Heh, it depends on what you want to do with your computer. Me, I am a bloody programmer. So, what I do is, most of the time, program, watch movies, listen to music, read book, organise my finances, write people's resumés (why is it that they bloody come to me for resumé help???), chat with friends, write a book, program some more, developing websites, make pretty pictures, program some more, well, you get the idea.

For me, it's easier to use a mac. It's friendlier to me, it's a powerful machine (yeah, try rendering a bloody 3D model of the earth texture and all, quite simple, eh, on a PC v. on a mac with similar specs!), nice OS, secure, and, another perk for me is, it is multilingual natively. So, I choose my macbook pro.

My husband, on the other hand, is a gamer. He needs to game, like I need to program once in a while, otherwise, we'd be killing each other with SMGs. Although for his other activities, he does use Linux. But yeah, there's not a whole lot of recent popular games coming out for macs. Therefore, if you're a gamer, and you like CS and the likes, go for a PC. Tho lately, I've been making fun of him, since bootcamp run CS smoother than his computer ever can on the same video card. Until he bought that pimping thousands dollar video card. But that's besides the point.

My point is, I think, it is easier to go with a mac. It's secure out of the box, and it's a lot friendlier than a PC. It packs quite a punch, and of course, if you decide that you want a windows, just put bootcamp on your computer, and you'd be running windows in no time (well, whatever time you need to install windows, of course).

come to the dark side.

a mac never crashes. a mac never get sick. a mac is user friendly in a way that PCs haven't even thought about.

they are seriously awesome.

but espensive. so if you just want a computer to cheaply get you through a few years, buy a dell and extend the warrantee.

Yeah, pretty much. Macs have no power but are still overpriced.
