I think it depends on who it is for...
Traditionally, the red rose is considered the flower that most symbolizes romantic love.
The orchid or tulip have the shape of the female organs, so they could be considered sexual in nature.
"Forget Me Nots" are also romantic, at least in my book.

In my opinion, without any shadow of doubt is red roses, because roses are a symbol of love and desire.

Typically the rose is synonymous with romance, but I think flowers like lilies are better!

Orchids are supposedly the sexiest. I think as long as it's more unique the roses, you're good.

They say that when it comes to romance it has to be rose..But why rose as this has no good smell. Tulip i guess is more acceptable.

They say a rose, but I have never understood that; one, it has thorns, and two, it dies quickly. Not a great symbol for real love.
