the best one that I know of is the Best Friends Animal Society. They are based in Utah and if the situation is desperate enough they will sometimes pay for transportation of an animal to their headquarters. here is the general info and website.

human society, peta, aspca, doris day, how come u do not know
also do u have a animal what needs help asap? the above
mentioned organizations are only a handful of so many, there
are also org. for reptiles only u should let us know what your
reason for this urgent request is so one of us could guide u in the
right direction

The ASPCA, The animal resuce league, local dog shelters, friends of animals. Teh humane society,The american kennel club. Breed resue organiztions (for a breed or dog only). Need more information to direct you to what you need.
