The Patriots will pay bigtime...but come up with the second overall pick from the Detroit Lions. They will take Calvin Johnson and probably lose a major defensive player...? The LB position will be addressed thru free agency.

I see the patriots possibly looking towards the draft for a WR and possibly a LB or a CB. I've been studying football for awhile and I've been studying the patriots just as long. If Anthony Gonzales is on the board they may jump at him, otherwise they'll look at the best CB and LB avaible and possible work from there. they could also ditch one of the picks and try to stockpile like they usually do. The Pats could address LB through FA, but if you look at whats avaible there are only a few the Pats could use. Briggs is out because he plays better in the 4-3. Antwain Peek has intrested me and so has Adalius Thomas. Donnie Edwards could be brought in but he is about the same age as Bruschi and Vrabel, so that doesnt really upgrade the position. I see the pats addressing WR and then looking at solid LB. There are a few players out there that could possibly help the Pats build a decent core again. I'd look for the Pats to take a look at some quick DEs in order to convert them to edge rushers (ie Vrabel).

I think both will come via free agency as the draft picks take a while to get up to speed. They may also draft some later players as backups to grow into those roles

I hope that the Pats can pick up Donte Stallworth from the Eagles if they dont sign him. Otherwise there arent many other WRs to choose from for Brady. At LB the Pats may look at signing Donnie Edwards or Lavar Arrington. Maybe even Lance Briggs. GO PATS!

If WR Ted Ginn, Jr is available, they should draft him...He probably won't be though...I don't know who they should get at LB...whoever the best free agents are at LB, they should try to sign...

...they'll probably pick something up from the flee market. The cheaper the better for them!! Kraft loves sales!! :) haha...nothing against the Pats. I do admire their GM.
