I've seen some videos about it and it's just really sad.

I think those guilty of this crime should be severely punished. Humans obviously have the up-hand in this and I can't imagine what kind of sick mind would take advantage of it. It hurts me so much, I try to block it out of my thoughts, but to no avail. I live in a spot where people dump off strays frequently. I have such a soft heart for them, I feed them regularly, often take them in as pets, but never let them go hungry. I've even paid my vet for flea control for them, at a time when I couldn't afford it. In all honesty, that was more for my small dogs than for them. Hate is a strong word, but I'll have to say that I hate people who abuse animals.

Abuse of any living being is wrong. Animals abusers are right up there with child abusers. Not to compare animals to children, but a living thing such as children and animals have no chance against an abuser.

I just do not understand how someone could go and do that. If you watch on animal planet, and see the show animal cops, those animals are so sad to look at. And I own a horse and I see a horse thats been abused I just want to scream and yell at the people who done that!!!!!

animal abuse and cruelty is one of the worst crimes imagineable. how is it that the murder of another human can get you life in prison (or in some countries the death penalty) when the murder of an animal can get you 1 or 2 years sentence max?? ANINMALS CANNOT DEFEND THEMSELVES VERY WELL PEOPLE!
also has been proven legitimately that peopelt hat abuse animals as you children and teenagers are much more likesly to end up in gaol for assualt or murder of humans
people that abuse animals should get the same punishment as those that assualt/murder people!!
ANYONE THAT HURTS OR KILLS AN ANIMAL SHOULD BE DEALT WITH SEVERLY! THATS SICK!!

The only thing worse than animal abuse is child abuse... It is one of the worst things you could ever do. It breaks my heart.

i think it's sad, mean, very wrong, and sick. it's hard to think of better words to describe animl abuse, it's just.....horrible!!
I mean go ahead and watch that animal cops show on Animal Planet, and tell me that's not sickening!!
