I recieved a text message from my ex it read: i stil lhate you , but have a wonder ful valentines day.

I replied with a thanks you too...but the next day i felt as if he was being a jerk and told him not to send me a message like that again. He broke up with me 1 - 2 weeks ago..and two days after we broke up he had a girlfriend. I was hurt ofcourse...so i told him to leave me alone. I felt as if this message was a way for him to hurt him. My friends think he has feelings for me still, he told me he cared about me and only left because he felt i didnt love him, but this is ridiculous. What do you guys think?

I think you was truly on his mind for "Valentines Day" other wise he would not have wasted his time sending you the sms

Action (him sending the sms)

Reaction (you replied)

Consequence (now it is playing on your mind)

So if you never read the message and deleted it

You would never would have replied

And it wouldn't be playing on your mind

Love is all about mind games

Some you win and some you lose

Put it out of your mind gi~rl and next time delete the message and don't read it.

People come into our lives for so many reasons

What is meant to be will be

You have a long life ahead of you, and many more mind games to play : )

Love & Blessings

Him texting you obviously means he was thinking of you... But the "I still hate you part" is really mean. I'm not sure if he was just saying that to justify why he was texting, as in, to let you know he wasn't trying to hit on you. And he just went overboard and ended up sounding more harsh than he meant... Or if he really does mean that he hates you. I guess just ask him. Tell him to be straight up with you. And to tell you exactly what he wants/doesn't want. It's not fair to keep you strung on and to keep texting/bring himself back into your life for him to just be a jerk about it. If you two still want to be friends, that's cool. And maybe that's what he really wants. But that friend might also be right. Eitherway, you're going to just have to talk to him about it.

I think he still has feelings for you. The mixed messafe (mean thing mixed with a nice thing) means that he was testing the waters. He didn't want to look dumb in case he sent you a nice message and you responded back mean (and don't still care about him like he cares about you).
