Well, I don't think there is a "best" effects processor, there is just a lot of different ones, that do a lot of different things, I'm old fashion, and I still like just the plain old flanger sound, I like some echo, a little bit of reverb, and sometimes the "chorus" sound, and that's all ! ! On vocals, I like a slight echo, that seems to linger on for a long time, with a semi-deep touch of reverb, I've used all kinds of brand names, I just like to try different ones, kinda like my marriages!! but thats another story! and the settings for me, just seem to change with my moods!!

The effect I can't live without is my Line6 DL-4 delay modeler pedal. I play in a three piece and use delay all the time to fill out our sound. I love the tones I can get out of it. I also LOVE my Xotic AC Booster pedal...a wonderful overdrive/boost that blows away a tube screamer. Check them both out!
