Coming from a jazz background, I played bluegrass and country too. Some of the singers and musicians are awesome.. Great song writers too. It's all the creative process. I appreciate most music. 20 years ago.. I would have never admitted to listening to country or even telling someone I liked country music.

To me, there is no other genre that is better. Most of the songs I can relate to and it's gotta have some southern drawl or twang!
