So I forgot to take my birth control last sunday, it was my last day before the placebos. I usually take them in the morning, I took it later that night after I had sex (sans condom) and saw the pack laying in the bathroom untaken.
oops.
I haven't had my period yet, I usually get my period the wednesday or tuesday after the pack is done. And its wednesday night....
I'm not freaking out cause sometimes my period just doesnt come, that hasnt happened in a while so I'm thinking maybe I'm just overdue?
Plus last year I forgot to take them for THREE days then I had sex all day the third day and I wasn't pregant from that.
Should I be freaking out? Is it time to bust out 15 bucks for a pregnancy test? Is it time to head down to the women's clinic?

One pill, I'm going to say the likelihood isn't that great. Besides, you have to ovulate to be able to get pregnant- and the pill stops you from ovulating. You ovulate at about the middle of your cycle, day 14. So, physically speaking, there was no egg in your uterus to get fertilized, (and forgetting it one day would not make an egg suddenly appear). Sperm can stay alive in you for a few days, but if you're about to start your period, they will come out with your menstrual blood. I wouldn't worry about it.

You won't get pregnant from missing ONE pill. If you have been taking your pills correctly before that, you're protected.
You're likely late because of stress. But, if it will make you feel better, you can take a pregnancy test. Chances are good you have nothing to worry about.

i would wait a couple weeks then head down to the clinic or drug store for a pregnancy test. it's not that likely that you're pregnant, but no harm in being safe.
