Willful ignorance. We don't know and we don't care as long as we can live in a nice place, and drive a nice car and have nice things. Who cares what happens to anyone else?

One of the most serious problems today is our need for instantly derived, black or white answers for serious problems.

Questions like: "Are you for or against the war?" "why don't we have universal health care?" or "Are you Liberal or Conservative?" take very complex situations and try to break it down to a simple answer.

Our world continues to get more and more complex both technologically and socially, and it's becoming more and more difficult for our laws, values and ideals to keep up.

A dad and a mom in the same house who love each other, their children, and other people. And who teach their children to do the same.( duh...I mean the lack of this.)
