Catherine is my favorite name for a girl because it is a respelling of my favorite actress' names (Katharine Hepburn and Cate Blanchett) and I love the nicknames that go with it, Cate, Catie, Cathy.
Benjamin is my favorite name for a boy because it is my father's and grandfather's name. I also like the nicknames, Ben, Benjie, Bennie, or just Benjamin.
