I am 39 weeks pregnant and I feel pinching dow there.
The only thing I can compare it to is when you go to get a pap smear and they pinch off that something inside of you and it doesn't hurt enough to say anything, but it is a bothersome feeling. Just plain pinching or finger nail scratching.
What is this?

Yes, I HATED that. I wonder if you could be dialating a little. Nothing is wrong, I had that soon to my due date.
If it is extemely painful, or is happening very freqently, call now. If it is occasional and uncomfortable but not excruciating, you can call tomorrow. If it's worrying you alot, call now and put your mind at ease.

probably its your baby hitting your belly button. or could be dilation. probably nothing to worry about but i know completely annoying! also they say your baby has nails could be scratchng something i guess. but i figure its the belly button thing...cuz i get that often. i'm 39 weeks and 1 day.

i know ill sound like a mom saying this but u are better off calling your doc and seeing what they say its better to be safe than sorry

I called it "the pinchy monster"... I just chaulked it up to being the baby.... might be something else, but it's normal.

THERE ARE NERVES IN YOUR PELVIC AREA DOWN THERE THAT WILL CAUSE PINCHING FEELINGS AND SHARP PAINS DOWN YOUR LEGS

i think you're in labor and you have been for a while and your baby is trying to tell you to take it out
