A keelboat is like a rowboat ot raft in shape - you can get the general idea from the link in the previous answer - what makes it a keelboat is a "keel", or ridge on the bottom of the boat in the center - see this photo looking at a boat from the front: http://www.pmaynard.lunarpages.com/index_files/updated_photos/18-bow-keel.jpg
A pirogue is a canoe made by hollowing out a log:
