lol all you Kobe fans i cant believe it Kobe is not a team player he is not that talented and man lets not forget who went up 3-0 in a series against the phoenix suns and just then got full of himself like he usually does and gives up the series have the phoenix suns just embrassas him in front LA and by the way LeBron would win.

both are extremely talented. putting age and expereience into consideration, the difference for me is that lebron isnt a great defender. his lateral quickness isnt really up to par w/ kobe's. kobe CAN be a great defender at times, but doesn't seem to be to want to shut down his opposing player...he'd rather have a duel (a la bird and nique 88' playoffs).
right now i'd take kobe. in 5 years, maybe lebron will be better.

kobe has a much better all around game than lebron all u guys just love lebron because of his spectacular dunks but he doesnt come anywhere close at all to kobes shooting ability look at his free throw shooting
and for you retards who say kobe is a ball hog why has he had multiple double doubles with points/ assists? lebron is averaging 6 dimes kobe is 5.5 that isnt a big difference at all

I agree that Kobe is a better overall player than Lebron cuz Lebron cant play defense. But Kobe's not the best. Heck this year he isnt even the mvp. Mvp duznt meen the best just meen most valuable that year.

Kobe may be better right now, but that's only because he's been in the league longer.
Lebron, when he gets to be Kobe's age, will have surpassed him.
And Jordan is the best of all time. Kobe isn't even in the top 10.

right now i'd take kobe over lebron. kobe is in his prime and has more experience in the league because he is a developed player who tries to improve his game after every season. lebron is undoubtedly a great player too, but when you compare the two the eleventh year veteran wins over the fourth year veteran.
