what is the best thing i can take for a this cold i have it is not so bad now but a was really ill for 5days straight with sickness allday and also all other cold symptoms oh and am 13weeks pregnant and asthmatic and i cant take peniciline am going 2 phone my dr 2moz i couldnt do it due 2 being so ill and also being far away from home with out the number so is there anything i cam take i have a slight throat infection,coughing alot n sore head n blocked nose and throat which is slightly clearing up
any ideas?

First you shouldn't take any meds without speaking to your Doctor first. No one online is going to know your health and your pregnancy like your doctor does. Second here are some non medicine ways to help your cold
Vapor plugs- they plug in your outlets and have a small vapor pad on them. They really help you breathe easier.
Humidifier or steamy shower- This will help break up any junk in your chest and ease your coughing.
Elevate the head of your bed so you are in a more upright position. This will make it easier to breathe as well.
You can try some hot tea (if your doctor has cleared your for herbs and things like that)
Try laying in a dark room with a cool cloth on your head to ease your headache.

im afraid you'll have to wait until tomorrow if tomorrow is the only way you can communicate with your doc. just drink more water and eat some oranges for a while. dont take anything yet.
