When our ForeFathers started this new country, it was to bring new freedom and new established laws for the new land and to get out of the clutches of England. To where anyone of any race, color, or creed could live. But back then we didn't have terrorists like we have today, nor did they have nuclear bombs or weapons that could destroy a city with one blow. People and society has changed considerably and not for the good I'm afraid. I'm not against people of any race to come to America and live to find a new hope and a new beginning if they choose to do so. But what I am against is not knowing if our Home Security is tight and strict enough to know whether if some of these immigrants aren't from terrorist oriented to cause harm on our home front. Also I'm afraid that our own Government will assist those from different countries to help them find jobs and a home and forget their own people that were born on this land that need assistance also. I feel that our Government needs to help our own first such as the Katrina victims that are still homeless and jobless before aiding others. Let's take care of our own first then help those from different countries. Now if the Government believes they can assist both then fine but I don't see that happening.

This is a noble job to help poor Iraqi people who have been victim of cruel war. Iraq is oil rich country but due to long sanctions and violence their condition is miserable. To help the Iraqi people is a human issue and all its neighbors should come forward. In my opinion it is safe and these people will play their role for the progress of host country.

properly i basically wanna allow you to understand that Iraqis who imagine of going to u . s . of america are from a severe social positions, trust me Iraqis are not any further terrorists yet there are some undesirable Iraqis like all different undesirable people in this international and that i imagine that the most they have the right to go away Iraq truly this time n you understand why, they are human n they wanna stay like all different human, n Iraqi voters who left Iraq, they left him because the had to n i imagine you understand why, and they r no longer satisfied to be some distance away of their position which they used to stay in... n they r waiting the instantaneous they could bypass again to their domicile because ( east or west domicile is the most ideal)

I thought the bush administration just wanted to kill them.
That is a good question though. Most Iraqis do just want to live in peace however how do we let them in and make sure no terrorist slide in with them.

I normally would not object to refugees however I don't think it would be advisable at this time. Terrorism is rampant and I think we should tighten our borders to immigrants and refugees for at least the immediate future.
