I had a full hysterectomy 2 years ago and am taking HRT but the hot flushes are still pretty bad...I usually have at least one every hour...any ideas of things to help ease them?

You can start by limiting your sugar intake and try avoiding spicy food. Or eat them less often.
Most sugary, spicy foods can bring on hot flushes.
Please ask you doctor is it is OK before you use any herbal supplements. I had my
hysterectomy 7 years ago. I did try HRT therapy it just didn't work for me. So I turned to herbal supplements. I started taking a herb called Black Cohosh. It help me with my mood swings and hot flashes (flushes). It first started to lessen the "heat" factor & feqancy of my hot flushes. After a few months my hot flushes stared to disapate. Now I only have hot fushes when I eat any food that is either to sugary or spicy. I have also tried other herbs but black cohosh works the best for my hot flushes. You can find Black Cohosh at any health food store.
Or stores that sell & vitimins & herbal supplements,
I hope this helps
