Many reputed employers post their job vacancies on major job boards like Careerbuilder,Monster,Hotjobs and Craigslist. You could apply online and post your resume on these job websites.Instead of searching each site individually, you could also search for jobs posted on major job websites, newspapers, etc. by using aggregators like Simply Hired and Indeed. Look on Craigslist, Mediapost, MarketingVox > Online Sales is booming again and there is most definitely a skill shortage.
Prepare a simple resume and get someone who's good at english and cares about you to read it - and get them to reread it everytime you change it. If you've been applying for a lot of jobs and getting nowhere why not provide some references upfront - words like honesty, commitment, loyalty, hardworking all mean alot when someone is looking to employ junior staff (it is a big commitment / takes a lot of resource to train a good sales person).
Send your resume with a cover letter to the HR address as supplied. Get personal and phone to check that they have received your application, explain that you are extremely interested in the post. Do not fill your cover letter or resume full of words - simply state your strengths, make it clear that you are looking to build a career in sales and work hard to be a success. Then go straight to the top and approach the sales director / VP/ SVP by telephone. Explain your interest and why you are suitable for the position. Do not say 'sorry to bother you', say 'thank you for taking my call' then explain what job your are calling in relation to and then tell em 'obviously you have no problem hitting the phones / making the calls but you are looking for somewhere that will reward your hard work with good training and solid sales foundation and you are desparate to get this job at xxxx company - ask if you can send them your resume directly so that they can help you get to the next stage'. Research the vertical market place you are looking to enter, the company and the product - if you don't fully understand how they make their money ask them but demonstrate that you have done your homework and given their proposition some thought. LISTEN TO THE ANSWERS.
Preparation is the key to feeling as confident as you can in an interview. Communicatig your enthusiasm is also paramount. Do give them examples of how you have applied yourself in the past and explain your commitment. Close them at the end - 'I would really love the chance to work here, do you think that I am the type of candidate that you would like to take to the next stage?'. Ask them what happens in the next stage> let them talk (they'll tell you what you need to prepare for it), Thank them for their time. FOLLOW UP with a call the next - simple restate your interest and thank them for their time. It is also good to right down what you remember from the first interview directly afterwards so that it can be fresh as a daisy in the next encounter - use this information to align yourself with the ideal candiate profile that they've described to you.
Go to any interview that you can get as they are all good experience for interview and the more comfortable you can get the more of yourself you will be able to put over.
A simple starting point in your sales education would be to buy the 'One Minute $alesperson' it'll take 3 days max to read and absorb and then apply the learning for it to sell yourself. Whatever you end up doing (and I hope that it is sales) this book will be useful to you.
GOOD LUCK AND DON'T GIVE UP ;)

Ever heard the saying, you are in highest demand when you are not available. Take a job, any job, for now. You are more relaxed during an interview when the pressure is off. Plus it looks better to a potential employer that you are currently working. It sounds crazy, but they really do think, I might not have hired her, but this other company did, I respect this company, so they must have seen something I missed.

Go to Careerbuilders.com.
I filled out a survey thing and got an email the next day of jobs that fit my description. I called the first one on the list and had the job the next week. I now work in a hospital emergency room and love it.
