How do react to thoughtless gifts when they are presented to you?

Today is also my and my bf's 4 year anniversary...after I got up this morning @ 5:30 to give him his v-day gift, all he said was that he doesn't celebrate Valentine's Day, and then he went back to playing on the computer.

wow its the though that counts, i love it. but after they turn their back or leave, through it away or give it to someone else, when they ask you about it couple days or months later, just make up some form of a lie, besides the lie is not true only if you done believe it.

Usually, I am very gracious and accept it no matter what intention may (or may not) be behind it.

However, as a younger woman, I may have talked a small amount of sass to them.

When they are given to me I say thank you and try very hard to hide my real feelings. Later I will mock the giver.
