i have an all girl band. we play rockish punkish music. but we cant decide outa American Santuary, Loud Yet Lovely (LYL), Frequency 1, or Bitter Sweet. thx! =)

American Santuary -- I have no idea what this means.
Loud Yet Lovely (LYL) -- ok but not exactly punkish.
Frequency -- has been used.
Bitter Sweet -- not bad, but again not punkish; it's more country or bluegrass.

Not big on any of them. Sorry...if you're punk, go with a punk name, not something foo-foo. Think about the greats - the Sex Pistols (double-entendre), the Clash (reference to unrest), Dead Kennedys (just plain offensive), the Plasmatics (a finger to the plastic society), Black Flag (lots of meanings, all rather dicey), the Runaways (jailbait rockers), X (probably the best name for a punk band).
Anyway, think ironic. Punk is meant to be ironic, so I suggest you try to come up with an ironic name. Like the Dandy Warhols...that's a killer name. Good luck!

How about Bitter Sweet Riot? lol, I dont know thats what sounded good to me and came into my head but the bitter sweet one sounds better.

ok, when you're set on one or the different, then American Sanctuary - LYL is somewhat "we are females with guitars!!! we adore the colour pink!!!" - no longer very punk. If it were my decision, i'd pass with some thing completely diverse, or have LYL yet do not tell human beings what it stands for, enable them wager (no longer actually everyone appears to be like on yahoo solutions!).... Rawk on & solid success inclusive of your band!
