So, will the conservatives now see that diplomacy works when there is an actual effort behind it, or will they argue that the threat of attack is what drove N. Korea to the negotiating table.

Can't wait to see the conservative pundits/crack pots spin this one.

AHA !!!!

I knew you Liberals would pull some stunt like this. Check out my question below.

The dumb-a** Democrats were the ones advocating breaking off the six party talks after North Korea wanted to just deal one on one with the U.S. The ridiculed him for this, but Bush steadfastly refused.

Now, you exasperatingly illogical, hypocritical, Liberals are trying to deny Bush the praise he deserves. This is how Liberals think: no matter what the issue, they can be against it on both sides.

If Bush demands that North Korea negotiate with the six parties, Liberals ridicule him.

If Bush had given in to their demands, they would have said he fell into their trap.

Bush used the carrot and stick approach. He enticed them with diplomacy, while holding the threat of sanctions or military intervention if they did not act reasonably and responsibly. He worked within (the exasperatingly slow) process of the UN, and still you Libs can't admit he did this correctly.

Why can't Liberals ever learn? Why can't Liberals have the decency to admit their mistakes, and praise our President for a fine strategy that paid off? But no, there isn't ANY SITUATION in which Liberals won't try to spin the truth. I'm sure some idiot will say we gave them "concessions" which negate the victory, or some silly argument. It's as if Liberals have some pathological need to always whine and complain.

I'm really sorry, Bob, but I can't speak for anyone other than myself. Ergo, I can't really tell you how "the conservatives" will feel.
But I do feel sorry for you, Bob. You're an angry person with a lot of hate boiling inside. You ought to take a long, hard look at yourself.
