I normally recommend Blackmores.

Apparently in Australia/NZ Elevit is the leading prenatal vitamin. I am 31wks pregnant (wasn't planned so wasn't on any prenatals prior to conception) and as soon as my doc confirmed my pregnancy i was told to go out and get Elevit tablets - no other. And everything is going really well so far - perfectly healthy baby growing and i will be continuing with the Elevit whilst breast feeding.

But if you want to double check ask the doc or the pharmacist!

Good luck :)

I personally took the Blackmore's Pregnancy & Breastfeeding formula about 7 months before I even tried to get pregnant. It felt bizarre taking such a tablet twice a day and I wasn't pregnant or breastfeeding! When we eventually decided to give it a go, I fell pregnant first time, so I truly believe that the tablets helped create the right environment within my body to enable everything to work. (Another 2 friends did the same and it also worked for them!) I'm now 31 weeks pregnant and am still taking it and will continue to do so once breastfeeding.
