depends on what part of newport news. down by the shipyard none of those do credit checks but its also a sketchy area. look in apartment guide.com its where we found some of them.

i dotn live int eh area, im from nebraska, but ive been to the region and i would suspect they do this for security reasons considering the proximity to all the military instalations. good luck
