all neutrals which are earth tones will work on any skin tone.....your foundation it different ....you do not want to use a color that leaves your face looking like a mud pie..(red)...Lip colors are the same....you can use a color...but make sure it has a tan or neutral base...and you usually will not go wrong. Right now you will be going through alot of trial and error, and that is normal. What you can do, is to go to your local department store and ask them. You may even want to consider asking you mom to have one of those Mary Kay make up parties for you and some of your friends who are also just starting to wear make up. Yes they are there to sell you stuff....but they will match you up with all that you need without making you look like a freak. This is an exciting time for you. please remember don't over do the make up....keep it natural looking, and you will end up beautiful everyday.

Have a mary-kay lady pay you a visit. She will recommend shades that will match your skin tone and she will teach you how to apply it. You can have a party with all your friends!

Or contact a MARK. representative and tell her you want to have a mark party. Ask her to bring shades and samples for you to try. They have awesome stuff, made for young women.
