My husband didn't get me anything this year and didn't even get me a card. I fixed him a nice dinner but he didn't get me anything. Oh well.

i'm no longer condoning this - i'm basically pointing out the glaring - yet when he cared,, he would attempt. i can regrettably say i have not had too many boyfriends who've been tremendous about that stuff, with the present one excluded (besides the undeniable fact that he does revile Valentine's Day and that i'm happy with a compromise on that one). you're not any further going to be in a position to regulate his suggestions. the in trouble-free terms thanks to experience more beneficial advantageous about this, is to do no longer some thing for him both. and that i advise no longer some thing! now no longer experience obligated, or maybe prefer to, bypass out of your way for his birthday, your anniversary etc. because he has obviously set the conventional for this on your relationship. you'll keep money, heartache and difficulty. And if he ever had the nerve to whinge, print off your question the following, each and each and every of the solutions, and direct him to study it.

No, I havent forgotten to get my husband something for Valentine's Day. I think its rude wouldnt you want him to get you something. Even if it was just a card or cooking him breakfast or dinner its the thought that counts.
