It is one of those pedals with 80 different effects and I play bass in one of my bands and it would be cool to know if I could use it with no harm to the pedal or bass.

Yeah, I've actually known of a few bands where the guitarists and bassists shared multi-effects pedals.

Should not harm anything. A bass player I knew often used a guitar distortion pedal. It was a totally cool sound. Have fun and experiment.

absolutely! any effect pedal can be used on any device, given that you can plug it in. in fact, you can plug a keyboard into it, or run your drums through it if you have a mixing board, resulting in some thoroughly strange sounds! whether you like the sound or not is entirely a subjective matter, but there's no harm in trying it out!

fairly a lot each and every of the Beatles albums. The bass through McCartney turned right into a very dominate device. BQ - Paul McCartney or John Entwistle BQ2 - "Come at the same time" - The Beatles "Paperback author" - The Beatles "Roundabout" - sure "Heartbreaker" - Led Zeppelin "Whipping submit" - The Allman Brothers Band
