I really like Addison but I don't really like the rest. Angelique is ok but I prefer Angela. How about Alexander so he can chose to have his nickname Ace or Axel.

Most of these sound like rock stars' names... which is okay. I like Addison best because it sounds original. My son's name is "Ambler" - it was my husband's grandfather's name and I like that there are no other Amblers around. I was a Samantha way back in the 60's when it was not a common name and I always liked that I was the only Sam in my class (now they're everywhere!!)
Make sure the name you choose goes well with the child's last name, too - My cousin just had a baby and named her Crystal, which is nice - but her last name is Light. Ouch.

Ace reminds me of playing cards or a hardware store
Axel reminds me of the GunsNRoses lead singer (not good) and a car part
Angelique is alright, but I don't like the "eek" at the end...
Addison sounds too masculine to me, but I like it...
Elliot is okay, but kind of plain
Cher reminds me of... well, Cher, the singer who looks like she couldn't possibly have any more plastic surgery..
Electra reminds me of Carmen Electra and a comic book, both bad..
Misty is an 80's name
Melodie is pretty
Malinda sounds like a witch who lives in a cave
Rebecca is okay, but a little too old-fashioned for me
Rori is just one of those words that is too tedious to say, like rural.. and it reminds me of a lion.

I once knew an Electra. I would NOT name my child after her. My sister in law is Rebecca. Still wouldn't name my child after her even though I love the name. Angelique is cute. Call her Angel.
