Look at the bright side.
Iraq problem solved
Global warming solved
Osama Bin Laden most likely will be dead.
Along with most of the worlds problems.
So lets sit back have a beer or two and wait the next two years out.

Wouldn't this have been a giant thing? I haven't heard anything on the news or on a website. But really it's probably a lie so our government can get support for something. If not then we have about thousands of nuclear missiles we can shoot at it or got Armageddon style . If that doesn't work or is even possible then were all screwed and there's nothing we can do about it live life up to the best and have some fun.

Dude that's when the giant flying rock will almost hit use. The problem is next time it comes around and how earths gravity from this time affects the path of the flying rock. "besides the government is to busy with taxes and ending NASA to deal with that. or there highly paid scientist are just neglecting the fact that we could all die and Bush isn't the best person to save use from disaster

"Asteroid "2003 QQ47" will be closely monitored over the next two months. Its potential strike date is March 21, 2014.
On impact, it could have the effect of 20 million Hiroshima atomic bombs "
Dont worry you wont feel a thing (for long).

Right, just like the computers were going to shut down in 2000.
This government is always going to look for excuses to borrow more money! Then they buy a yaht to spend what "remaining time" is left in luxury while some people starve!

"We are getting better at predicting the path, but the the prediction would likely be that the 2009 asteroid will miss Earth by 1241 miles plus or minus 11,000 miles."
There is no definite answer as to whether or not anything will hit us in our lifetime.

I've seen a lot of your questions and let me tell you something - YOU ARE NOT THE LEAST BIT FUNNY. I bet you didn't know that billions of astroids hit earth everyday that could kill half of humanity. But they burn up in our atmosphere and if they are really that deadly then they would have to be bigger than the earth itself. The huge huge huge huge astroids MIGHT make it through as pebbles, smart one.

no, there isn't. even if there was, they could not pinpoint the exact date. Dubya will probably try to 'edjumacate' people on his ideas and plan by using 'The Google". Ha ha ha. had a humour streak.
Anyway, there isn't something destined to kill us all on 7/19/2009.

How about sending the Red Crusader against it, speeding off as if shot from a bow! He can throw it ...away :...just ...away. --- Nah, I like the moon & the tides.
Do right & don't worry, because "with God, all things are possible."
