Not with a toothbrush or even those "infant gum" brushes. You should however take a soft infant washcloth with warm water and "clean" her mouth. Just run it along her gums, cheeks, tong, roof of mouth. and inside of both lips. At least 2 if not three times a day. This will keep her mouth clean. She will begin to like it if she doesn't immediately. It also helps to establish the brushing routine early on. My little guy transitioned easily to a tooth brush when it was time because it was a part of our daily routine already. ( Think of how your mouth would feel if you didn't clean it everyday, your gums would get sore and hot and feel very uncomfortable.) Good Luck!!

A simple rinse with nothing but water should be sufficient until she starts eating mushy food, and eventually soft solids. When she gets her first tooth/teeth, go to your chemist and ask if there is any type of 'baby toothbrush'. If not, get the softest possible toothbrush and use a specially designed toothpaste for babies/toddlers/children, and definately do not brush hard.
Just something to wipe the food away and clean sufficiently until they're a little shiny and white.

Don't even bother with her gums. They are very soft and sensitive right now. Especially at 3 weeks. Even washing with a wash cloth could turn them red and they'll get swollen, making her miserable and maybe even unable to eat.
Once she gets her teeth you will be able to start cleaning them. Her gums won't be as sensitive. Right now, unless instructed by a doctor, you should not be even worrying about her gums.

Not really a reason to right now. I would wait. If you feel the need, wipe her gums with a warm washcloth if you can. When she gets her first tooth you can start with the finger toothbrush with training toothpaste. If she doesn't get a first tooth by 5 months I would start doing it anyways just to get her used to it. Congrats!

There is no need to brush her gums unless you just want to get her used to a toothbrush; for now, don't use toothpaste if you do decide to brush. Be sure to brush VERY gently, and with the softest toothbrush you can find.

Use a soft baby washcloth and when giving a bath rub the gums with it. This will do til the baby is a bit older. I used this method til my children were a year old, then we switched to a baby toothbrush.

Start by wiping her mouth and gums with a soft wet cloth. That will get her used to you cleaning her mouth, and make it much easier for you to brush her teeth when it's time.

My daughter is two months old today, and we've gotten her one of those rubber cap w/ tiny bristles on it(Comes w/ baby orajel toothpaste). I don't use the toothpaste, and won't need to until she starts eating real food, but it doesn't hurt any to use just the rubber cap. I started it about a week ago and my brat loves it, lol, she likes to chew on my finger anyways, so why not encourage her to have healthy teeth habits. Lol. Good luck!
