Anything is possible.
It would depend on what frequencies they can hear, since that would determine the kind of instruments they make and the music they produce. If they hear at different frequencies than humans, their music could either be just noise to us, or we might not even be able to hear it (and they would probably not be able to hear our music either).

If beings on other planets resembled humans they would have to adopt a culture that used music as a means of communication or enjoyment. We are a product of cultures through they years, we have been fortunate that things on this planet have gone in our favor and we have become the masters of domination. This is not to say that on other planets (if they had human type animals) that they would not be prey to other animals or be the dominant species on the planet. This could hinder their ability to have such niches in their culture.

Yes there music would be very similar to ours. Maybe the same but with different words... This could be possible because a planet in a different universe could be a parallel to our universe where only the words to song some songs are different which would influence all the music after it to be different also.

there must be, in 2002 pink rain fell on india, scientists trust that it truly is a type of existence compared to at least some thing found in the international, it multiplies even in intense temperatures (search for pink rain india to ascertain article), the actual undeniable reality that existence formed in the international skill it truly is a danger on yet another planet, perchance mars turned right into a twin of earth at one level, mabye there are planets helping existence thorought the universe, some more beneficial smart than others questioning a similar element. they could probable breath oxygen or mabye opt for a lot less of it to stay, mabye none, they could breath gasses that ought to kill some thing in the international. a resembleience to us would not be no longer a danger depending in the international, we are like this because we advanced to live to inform the tale, mabye they advanced otherwise to healthful their needs, i reckon we are no longer that a lengthy way from researching some thing fairly huge if it has'nt been got here across already, maximum religions will be thrown into intense doubt with the discovery of existence on yet another planet, that would nicely be a reason (and an excellent one once you imagine of the hysteria it would reason) to conceal it, yet notwithstanding who's favourite with. i in my opinion trust in existence on different planets, yet it truly is purely my opinion. and no i do not trust in god

Amen-and I'd guess it depends more on that mathematical structure than on the physical senses (Deaf people have music--but expressed as motion/physical vibrations instead of sound). Music could well prove to be a universal language!

Yes, this is somewhat plausible. Unlikely, but plausible. Have you heard that death metal band from Zenkar 6? They rock!

first of all, i don't think there are "beings" on distant planets...but if there were....I don't think their music would resemble ours because they probably wouldn't think exactly like us and they'd have to think of a way to first INVENT the intrument...
